I started making my own handbags when I realized I wanted something very specific and continually settled for whatever I could find. When I bought fabric for my first bag I was astounded by how much the fiber artists have evolved in the last 10 years and all of the exciting designers and their art. I started making my own bags with exactly what I wanted in these new chic designer fabrics and then my good friend Jane advised me to make more and sell them. That's when I discovered Etsy and now you have discovered my shop!
I'm a proud member of the Idaho Indie Works street team! Etsy is great for Idaho, especially the rural communities that have accessibility issues with sharing their talents. Idaho residents, please also remember that our 6% sales tax must be charged for every transaction.
I have a blog where I more thoroughly discuss my process as well as my accidental environmentalism: http://www.engbynik.blogspot.com/
Thank you very much for browsing! Your interest is very much appreciated.
